I think the Clippers went thru that phase as well.

For us Laker fans, its been, if we can survive February with no injuries, we're frosty smile

Re: NBA

Nets had a promotion for lower level seats for free (and TM charges, but that's TM). It being the Nets and Izod, once you get in, it's really easy to meet up at court level. Good way to spend the night out.
I talked to Nate Robinson's brother and Terrence William's cousin. twill's cousin was really quiet, which surprised me.

Pat led the passing with 7 assists, and his usual steady defensive play held the opposing first squad to no double-digit point getters. He was heard running down the court screaming "If I can't score, you won't either!"

There's a 50% chance of getting either live or die. Obviously you're more likely to die, but if there are two options there is a 50% chance of getting either. -SH

Re: NBA

Nice chance for Tyreke to have a starring role early...Not like that team was going anywhere anyway - Guess this just takes them that much closer to the 2010 #1 Pick in the draft. Good for them, it's what they need.

Re: NBA

Honestly I'm okay if the Cavs go .500 for the first 10 or so games, cause I think after that they'll be great.

I've seen nothing particularly good thus far... and now that Kuester's gone?  Brown's screwing it RIGHT up!

Well... yeah: really.
Tell me: what have you seen thus far that makes you think the Cavs are going to be better than Boston/Orlando?

Re: NBA

-Brown, when it comes to offense, is a horrible coach. BTW, the funny thing about the shaq acquisition is that alot of people thought he would be a great 2nd option, which is true IMO. But the problem is (if anybody been watching the games), when Shaq gets the ball, the offense comes to a halt/standstill, thus making his teammates cold. Oh and Malice is right..you've got to be kidding yourself if you really think Cavs can compete with Boston/Orlando.

-I don't know if it's just me, but as a Laker fan...Bynum is disappointing when it comes to defense and rebounding. This guys pouts and complains on EVERY single call. He looks like he's only looking for his shot..he's like a black hole. Oh and Phil had to scold him the other day...he's starting to become a diva mad

-I think Bron bron gets a triple double tonight

-Excited to see memphis play tonight..haven't seen them play yet. I wanna see mayo, AI, randolph, rudy fighting for the ball LOL

Re: NBA

Last year, the Magic started off 0-2 (and 4-3 after seven games), including a loss to Memphis (24 wins on the year). At that point, what were THEY showing to suggest they'd be better than Boston/Cleveland in the playoffs?
