You mean that the presence of LBJ is enough?

MVP level amazing for anyone else? Kobe, LeBron and Melo are very nice as usual - but Nash - wow.

I'd say Bosh is up there, don't you agree?

Not really sure what their record is but Bosh has been dominating

Re: NBA

I was just pointing out that I think judging an NBA team based on only a few games, and that the home record thing isn't really troubling, at least to me, if I were a Cavs fan. I don't follow the Cavs at all, I'm not trying to enter the overall discussion of "How good is Cleveland compared to other elite teams", I was just tossing something in passing.

Re: NBA

Definite trends in what's going on, can be assessed on a thus far basis.  I can guarantee you that those in charge at Cleveland are frantically working towards getting the roster they have to work.
I have no idea what Mike Brown is as a 'teacher' (outside of games coaching), but within the games?  He's awful.  When you get out-coached by Vinny Del Negro...

Re: NBA

Chris Bosh sucks. He doesn't play a lick of defense, and he is not a good playmaker for others.

Pat led the passing with 7 assists, and his usual steady defensive play held the opposing first squad to no double-digit point getters. He was heard running down the court screaming "If I can't score, you won't either!"

There's a 50% chance of getting either live or die. Obviously you're more likely to die, but if there are two options there is a 50% chance of getting either. -SH

He'd be a nice second fiddle on a good team.

Re: NBA

I just realised/thought about it - Shaquille O'Neal has played alongside LeBron, Kobe and D-Wade now....Only player to do that? Will he be the only player to ever do that?

It's not that significant - But it's kinda cool.

Re: NBA

In other exciting news, Jawai played pretty well in a losing effort for the Wolves.

Oh and Harbour, it'd be cooler if it was LBJ, Wade and Melo tongue

Re: NBA

Nathan Jawai is the man. He was like a poor mans Quentin Richardson though this summer...

I guess Shaq can't win without a dominant swing man!

Re: NBA

Actually, it's not novel that Shaq had another star player everywhere he went.  Magic had Kareem and Worthy, Bird had McHale and Parrish, Doc had Moses and Cheeks, Jordan had Pippen and Grant (and later Rodman), Isaiah had Joe Dumars and all those big men, far more rare is a player who gets to a championship series with literally no one else.  The only two that come readily to mind are Iverson in 2001 with the Sixers and Moses Malone when he was with the Rockets.
