Yeah i know but we have a good squad everyone GR last season i see us winning 35+ games this season before the playoffs

It matters who you play in those 35 wins though...

I would have liked you guys to be in Kareem to really see how that build goes as i think the good teams should have it covered.

How do u cover it though....were gonna be the better defensive team in every game we may not have as many scorers but if you noticed players in a one lineup team score 45-50pts a game not to mention no one knows which each of are players secondaries are

What happens if a team can shut down the shooter and 3pt shooter...What are your other options?

Well thats where are secondaries come in to play....i dont think u can really shut someone down in this game to be honest are shooters are gonna shoot 30+ times a Gm....and dont forget i get to lower my opponents players as well

If you are talking to me, note that I said on one line.  One of your lines has nothing for 3's, which in seasons past was a deathblow to any serious team.  Kaz tweaked 3's though, which is why I am now particularly interested to see how your team does.

Re: SFYL

There are ways around the 3pt shooter in a line.  It's a slight one, and I still don't know how it works EXACTLY, but it does smile

In terms of shutting down the scorers, the possessions for those scorers will still be there, its how BOTH teams manipulate the lineups and TSP that determine the percentage of which that scorer converts.

I guess we will just have to wait and see he did score 54Pts are first game as a shooter

It's one game, where no TSP were involved that would limit the scorer, these 1 scorer lineups tend to find scoring averages drop (a little) towards the tail end of season, when teams have more TSP to play with, granted I don't advise them to go rambo about it..

This i agree with and hopefully i can work my lineup team skills and player skills in my advantage....If not i will be letting my team down as the Captain

Re: SFYL

I don't think it is fair to generalize one scorer lineups like that, as there are so many different ways to execute that type of build.  I'm not putting anyone down here, I'm saying your team is potentially a good test case for me to evaluate the sim changes.

That...or do what I do and assign someone at co-capt just so he can take the blame....

Oops.

Well im glad i could help u out maybe my team build will change CR around a little....I remember when i first started there was a team that was defensive minded and they won alot of games i cant remember the team name....But when i saw that i figured it might be a good idea to build an All defensive minded team with 2 Great scorers....We should hold teams to very little points scored and forcing TOs and blocks should lead to us shooting the ball a little more per game but like u said i could be totally wrong and be wasting my teams time

Re: SFYL

I didn't mean to say you were "wrong" at any point.  There aren't any perfect builds or right answers.  I remember that prior to season 11 most people didn't think one scorer lineups could win the big games.  My experience has been that teams without significant 3's on each line can't win the big games...but yeah, that could be changing.

Regarding lots of defense, it doesn't necessarily mean that your team will hold other teams to low point totals.  It is the same type of idea that adding another scorer to a one scorer line doesn't make a team score more points.

Too bad I don't have the balls to do that for both lines (by balls I mean the necessary players).

And by necessary players you mean balls.

Zero scorer lineups are for cowards! There's no one to peg the blame on if you lose tongue Single scorers take all the heat wink

Re: SFYL

I don't think they're the first to trot out such a lineup. Galactic Titans / Titans Forever have fielded a similar lineup for a few seasons now and have a finals and final 4 appearance to show for it.
