Re: AP tests

I think I did quite well on the frq and couldn't have missed more than 10ish MC

Pat led the passing with 7 assists, and his usual steady defensive play held the opposing first squad to no double-digit point getters. He was heard running down the court screaming "If I can't score, you won't either!"

Re: AP tests

I originally left 10 blank, there were 2 of the ten that I answered and was 85% positive on, then I guessed on two more for a total of 6 blank.

Re: AP tests

I know MNFL took Physics today, but did anyone take Chem? I want to see what the questions were like this year difficulty-wise.

Re: AP tests

I took bio today. I wish I was in physics, though.

Same remaining schedule as barc

Re: AP tests

Dear god psych was a joke.

Language tomorrow. Anyone find a released test? I can't find any, and I want to do a quick MC practice.

Re: AP tests

The language exam is a complete joke, tbh. It was the easiest five I had earned, aside from Calc AB.

Re: AP tests

Yep, I'm not worried at all. So many dumb kids who think they're "free spirits" and "creative thinkers" take AP lit, as do kids who're good at Math and Science, and want AP lit for a transcript booster. Really takes down the curve. I love it.

Re: AP tests

DONE.

My last body paragraph was about how much Dane Cook sucks. My whole AP experience is vindicated.

Re: AP tests

Well the prompt was something about the role of the humorist, with a prompt from Alain de Botton. Basically it said that the role of the humorist was to send out messages impossible or dangerous for others to send out.
I qualified it and said that was the role of satirists, and not all humorists are satirists. My Dane Cook paragraph was about how he as a (failed in my opinion) humorist, and does nothing for the betterment of society.

Re: AP tests

I'm not exactly a Dane Cook fan, but I'm also not sure why it has become so fashionable to take a shot at him.  Why exactly does a humorist (or anyone) have to "better society"?  I mean it is cool if they do, but sometimes I just want to laugh.

I completely forgot to write about Modest Proposal. I probably should have, but I guess everyone was going to write about him anyway.

Well I dislike him less for not being a satirists and more for not being funny at all.

HAHA peanut butter pornography. Hilarious.

He makes potentially interesting observations, but ruins it by having a shitty delivery solely encompassing bashing around the stage and saying the word "truck", and not expounding on the observation at all.

Re: AP tests

It is like going into a stupid bad, yet funny movie.  It all depends on your attitude.  Any one can cherry pick weak jokes from a comic they don't like.  I actually don't like a lot of his stuff, but some of it really gets me.  Love the Oprah bit.

Re: AP tests

Peanut butter smack was his end joke. It was supposed to be the best joke he had, and it, like the rest of his performance(s) was awful.
