Endurance trick

Does someone have a better way to explain the endurance trick?

This is how I explained it. But when I pm it or post it on team forums, not everyone understands it, but I can't really explain it better.
Any help?

My example:
Say you are gone 10 hours, but you want to train 3s.  Queue up an endurance
When you get back, your queue (non premium users) should look like:
1. Endurance (minus 10 hours off total training time)
2. 3 point (lets say it takes 2 hours to train)

Cancel Endurance. Your queue should look like this:
1. 3 pointer (makes the screen refresh or "flash" every second)
2. Quickly Queue up another endurance

When the time reaches the next interval of 5 minutes, it will look like:
1. Endurance (minus 8 hours)
2. nothing (So queue up another 3 pointer)

Cancel endurance to make 3s train, then queue up endurance in the 2nd slot

Next interval of 5 min:
1. Endurance (minus 6 hours)
2. 3 pointer
Cancel endurance to make 3s train and then queue another endurance

thanks for the help

Re: Endurance trick

I think you hit the nail on the head, Tyler.  I'd also mention thats for non-premium training.

Re: Endurance trick

But you have the time to analyze some sort of training glitch on this "stagnant" game?

Re: Endurance trick

Tore a Bore a Posted this on our team forums and its the best description I've ever seen.  This isn't for just non premium members.  I use it all the time if I'm going to be away from a computer or my blackberry for extended time and I don't want to lose training time.

I'm sure most of you know the endurance cancel trick, but in case someone doesn't know,  I'll post it.  I've been training using the endurance training trick over night because the train times are so short.

I'll try and draw it out for how a non-premium user would do it.  Let's say you have an empty queue.  So you train one dunking and then one endurance and your queue looks like this:

Dunking            1:00            4:00     Cancel
Endurance         9:00           13:00    Cancel

You can go away for like 4 hours and come back and your queue will look something like this:

Endurance         6:00          13:00     Cancel

What this means is that endurance has been training for 3 hours, so you have 3 extra hours of training.

Now before you queue up the next stat you want to train, right click on the endurance train and select copy link address or copy link location (it depend on the web browser)

Endurance        23            9:00           Train  <--- right click this

You can paste it into your web browser address bar to see if it worked but don't click enter because we don't want to queue up another endurance yet.   In the address bar, it will look something like this:

www.courtrivals.com/processing/train.php?s=Endurance

Now that you have the endurance train url saved into your copy, queue up the next stat you want to train, let's say another dunking.  You're queue will look something like this:

Endurance         5:59           13:00     Cancel
Dunking            1:05            14:05     Cancel

Now cancel the endurance train and the screen will start refreshing a lot.  Just paste the endurance train URL into the address bar and hit enter.

www.courtrivals.com/processing/train.php?s=Endurance   <-------- Paste into address bar and hit enter

Until the next 5 minute mark, your queue will go all crazy looking like this:

Dunking            4:05               5:05       Cancel
Endurance         9:00               14:05     Cancel

But at the next 5 minute mark, your queue will look like this:

Endurance         7:00               14:05     Cancel

This means that of the 4 hours that passed, 2 hours went to training 2 dunkings and 2 hours went to endurance.  You now repeat the process to train another dunking, and repeat it again to train another dunking.

Once you try it out you'll understand it.

Re: Endurance trick

It is something that can help virtually any user on the site regardless of whether they have premium or not (but especially if they don't).

Queue 1: Endurance (9 hours)
Queue 2: 3pt (2 hrs)
Queue 3: 3pt (2 hrs)
Queue 4 : 3pt (2 hrs)
Queue 5: 3pt (2 hrs)

Go to bed, wake up 8 hours later.
Queue 1: Endurance (1hr remaining)
Queue 2-5: 3pt (2 hr each = 8hrs total)

Cancel Endurance training, the 8 hrs trained will transfer to the remaining queued attributes. Not as effective for premium users as non premium I guess.

(At least, that's my interpretation of it?)

Re: Endurance trick

If you have to be away from the computer for a long time, you can use any long train (not just endurance) to hold the time.  When you cancel something like a 24 hour endurance after 10 hours, that 10 hours goes to anything in the queue.  I use this all the time when I am going between my secondary and primary.

this is it right on the head.

For premium users its more useful early in the season when training times are lower, and you could realistically go to sleep and wake up to an empty que.  With the endurance trick if you decide to sleep an extra hour (or just ignore your alarm) it won't affect your training plan, as you just come back, cancel the last few hours of endurance (cuz if you let it run the full 20 hours your sleeping beauty) and let it boost your lower time trainings.

Later in the season when training times hit the 4-6 hour mark its less useful.  But for the 1.5-3 hour trainings it can help you, especially if you have inconsistent access to the net.

Re: Endurance trick

I've never had any luck canceling trains when the time the train has accumulated exceeds the length of the following train. It just flickers and freezes with me ending up having to cancel everything in the que and re-loading. As in, If endurance had run for two hours and my threes are two and a half, I'm good. I now have thirty minutes left on threes. However if my threes are only like one and a half hours, shit goes haywire -- doesn't work.

How do you avoid this?

It rights itself automatically at the next 5 minute mark.  It is also very easy to log in as a guest and add things to the queue if it is flickering too fast.

I use it to avoid ever having to do long accelerated trains for either my main or secondary.  I'm not sure what is most efficient but it works for me.

+4 3's.  The time held in endurance can be applied to anything.

Re: Endurance trick

Well in that case, you would have to slip in something after the endurance is canceled (if you aren't fast enough while it is flashing just log on as a guest) to hold that last hour.  Otherwise it would be lost at the next 5 minute mark when it goes back to normal.
