Re: The land of plenty

Well, seeing that I have a player with 1022tp so far, while having 33 in endurance due to my absent for a couple of days (which means I missed out on training), don't have a premium account and the team is in the final four, I have to say: I'm NOT impressed. big_smile

Re: The land of plenty

That is solid. What did you train your highest main to?

I trained my top attribute to 120, slid away from it and used my 2nd 3rd and 4th highest attributes (all over 117) for changing individual chem depending on opposition match ups. I didn't bother looking at my chem with a team mate as they are all inactive, except 2. Those 2 are co captains and have all our TSP on their line up, so I had to get creative in trying to hide my strengths to chase stats, which was actually quite fun.

I forgot to train one attribute until the last day, so I probably could have got a few more TTP in if I wasn't derp.

Higher than yours, obviously. wink I will sheed more light on this once the team is out of the playoffs (which is likely after the next game against the B-Team).

One thing I don't understand is why you picked 3pt shooting as the top attribute. Because your player doesn't take any 3's, that makes it rather obvious, that this is not your "chem" or "specialist" attribute. But still, trying to reach that triple double is a nice goal. I'm still trying to get a double double somehow.

I tought my player Dirk Nowitzki has a chance to become the MVP with 23/7 and 1.3 blocked shots per game while shooting 61% from the field. But that only resulted in a 2nd team award (again after a 22/7 back in season 21).

Re: The land of plenty

Admittedly 3 point shooting was obvious if you knew what to look for, as you said I didn't take any, but I picked that as I was hoping lazy captains would just look at strengths and not stats, and try to cover the 3 ball instead of the dunk. It also helped that as a 6'6 guard, I started my 3 point shooting at 75, so I used proficiencies to get it up with shooting and passing.

Here is my MVP season, I was stoked with the stats I managed then. 5 triple doubles and 6 20/20s. http://www.courtrivals.com/showPlayerPr … 5&s=23

Here was my best game, I think it may have been the closest in CR history to a quadruple double, albeit against a filler team. http://www.courtrivals.com/showBoxscore.php?gid=981085

Re: The land of plenty

http://www.courtrivals.com/showPlayerPr … 3&s=20

That was the season I started the team. Ending up with 32/15, in quality games it was 33/12. Some interesting games.

http://www.courtrivals.com/showPlayerPr … ?pid=45271

This guy actually had some triple doubles with points, rebounds and both steals and blocks.

But I would like to have a double double player with more points than rebounds on a competitive Pro team.

Well, and it seems like you have to wait for the "light" a bit longer. Somehow my team won yet again.

P.S. Joke, good luck with that game tonight. Hope it is at least not such a blowout like last time we met in the playoffs.

Re: The land of plenty

Congrats to "Joke", at least it was closer this time. smile

Clips, highest trained attributes are in the range from 180 to 190 for me. Missed out 5 complete days on training due to absents. That could have mean highest trained at around 200 and around 1050 in tp.

Knowing that I will not be able to train for a longer stretch within the next season; I will not come back. Season 27 is also not possible, but season 28 I might come back and try it again. Good luck everyone in season 26.

Thank you.  From a team that I think you did not take seriously at the beginning of the season, you obviously had a great plan and a lot of success at the end of the season.  Too bad you will be absent for a season or two, but I'm glad you will be coming back.

Well, the plan was basically a balanced lineup with multiple attributes at higher level (just going with the proficiencies). I think my idea to hide some of those real chem and specialist attributes might have confused some, not quite sure whether that is actually true. Maybe I just was incredible lucky in those playoff (Vice City Heat beating the Robots helped for sure). I would rather attribute that success to luck and the lack of active teams in the end.

I just wish more people would play in West, the league gives everyone a level starting field (except for experience) and people can test a lot of things. I would suggest everyone should get a permanent West player for free. But well ...
