Season 36 Power Rankings Week 4

Week 4 (End of Day 28).

1. RGM Mavs
Record: 22-6
Last week’s ranking: 1st
Last week: 4-3

Yet again RGM are at the top, but the gap is certainly closing. The Mavs aren’t the undefeatable powerhouse that they were at the start of the season, and upset losses against APOA and Rising of The Phoenix proved it this week. However they went 2-1 against Franchise Connection as well as handing out a beating to Flyswatter. With only two weeks to go before the playoffs start things are certainly heating up. Will the gap close further or can RGM jump back out in front of the pack?
MVP so far: Gino Pino – 34.6ppg, 39.4% 3pt

2. Franchise Connection
Record: 19-9
Last week’s ranking: 2nd
Last week: 5-2

Trucking along in second spot is Franchise Connection. With only two losses, coming solely at the hands of RGM, things are looking rather good for this team. They would have preferred some of the margins to be more sizeable, most notably a one point win against the Pats today, but you can’t complain about the W.
MVP so far: Jack Frost – 11.3ppg, 21.9rpg, 1.1bpg

3. A Piece Of Art
Record: 19-9
Last week’s ranking: N/A
Last week: 6-1

On the march this week are APOA, climbing all the way to third spot on the back of some great wins against RGM, Rising of The Phoenix, Pawtucket Pats, Always Forever, and Crunch Time. The only negative was a huge loss to The Buckeye Tigers, but they’ll surely have a chance to atone for it before the season comes to a close.
MVP so far: BAG FULL OF URB – 5.6rpg, 7.1bpg

4. The Buckeye Tigers
Record: 17-11
Last week’s ranking: N/A
Last week: 7-0

A perfect week has propelled The Buckeye Tigers to fourth spot this time around. Even though the team played a few non-competitive teams they caused a massive upset against the high-flying APOA mid-week. Another excellent win against Always Forever rounded off a perfect week.
MVP so far: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist – 39.6ppg, 42.1% 3pt

5. Always Forever
Record: 17-11
Last week’s ranking: N/A
Last week: 5-2

This week Always Forever are the best of the rest, too good for fellows teams such as Crunch Time and Flyswatter but not good enough to compete against the likes of Buckeye and APOA. They’ll need to pick it up if they are any hope of competing with the top teams in the playoffs.
MVP so far: Neros Yam – 25.1ppg, 44.2% 3pt

Re: Season 36 Power Rankings Week 4

I think the gap isn't too big between the top teams (RGM, FC) and the rest of the bunch. CT, Flyswatter, Pats, Always Forever, Buckeye, RotP, APOA, and probably a few others. There is still a fair bit of time before the playoffs, but is should be one of the more interesting playoffs in recent times.
