Rollback Stats Calculator

I've created a spreadsheet that can be downloaded so you have an offline tool to determine your point total for the next season after the dreaded rollback.  See the sample image below for the steps involved.

Syed Ashrafulla has created a great web-based tool as well.

I was tired of the spreadsheet and how I had to download it and whatnot, so I turned it into a simple web interface.

I think it's self-explanatory. There's no button because once you edit the text box, it automatically updates. The position is only important for 6'6 guys (the only height at which you can be either a guard or a forward); for those players, put G or F (or guard or forward or Guard or Forward or g or f; I only look at the first letter and check whether it's G or F after converting to upper case).

Re: Rollback Stats Calculator

figured out how to edit it for those who played season 1.
=E6*(0.25+(0.05*(1-1)))
turns into
=E6*(0.25+(0.05*(2-1)))

Re: Rollback Stats Calculator

Okay... should be completely correct now.  Let me know if you run into any issues and I'll revise.

Re: Rollback Stats Calculator

I don't think you get to include endurance in the rollover.

Re: Rollback Stats Calculator

It looks like you still want to get to the next "10", just like last season

Bummer!  Oh well, I've updated the calculator to reflect this (it just always shows 10 as the new Endurance and ignores the formula).

I'd have to include an If statement to ask if one of your bonuses was from 1st team.. too much work.  10 is close enough. :p

Re: Rollback Stats Calculator

It's a great spreadsheet, just delete the formula for endurance and you have 99.9 percent of the players covered.

Re: Rollback Stats Calculator

This might sound like an idiotic question, but how do I find out what my base stats were? I don't remember at all. I'm a 6'11 F.

Re: Rollback Stats Calculator

I'm kinda confused. I'm a 5'11" guard that just started this season.  But my roll back of some catefories are actually higher than my ending number.  For example, right now my ending ball handling is 32 right now.  It shows my starting season 3 number at 33.  I dont understand why it would roll up higher.  Free Throws, Dunking, and Leadership did the same thing.

I am kinda new to this.  Am I messing something up?

Yeah, I don't know about it to be honest.  As I mentioned, I've never had a rollover to compare to.  My guess is that the idea is you're a veteran and therefore are just going to improve to a certain extent.  It's possible though that the formula just doesn't work all the time.

You get a bonus on your base points as well as your training points.  So if you started this season with 32 points, you would start the next season with 40.  Without any training.

Re: Rollback Stats Calculator

Can you repost the version of your calculator that includes the row that shows the amount gained after the formula? The version that there is now only has the rows "Season 2 ending stats" and Season 3 beginning stats. I'd like to have the version that also includes the row that has the amount of attributes gained before added to the base stats.

thanks

Hyphy,

It is still there, just hidden.  Select rows 5 and 10 together and then right click and you'll see the option to unhide.
