Re: So who else signed up for buzzerbeater?

Im in the same league as Dabears. Its only time consuming in the beggining becuase you have to get your team set up. the play by play is soooo good.

How far ahead are people in training?

I don't like games where I can't catch up fast.
How time consuming is it?

I'm guessing it'd take a long time to get to the top levels.  Teams right now start at level 5 so it'd take at least 3 - 4 seasons to get up there and chances are 8 - 10 is more likely so at least a year.  Its not like CR where you train multiple times a day.  You set your training for a certain subset of players and its picked up once a week with its effectiveness based on what type of training you did, the skill level of your trainer, and how many minutes the players were in the games.

As far as time consuming, I've spent a quite a bit of time with buying/selling players and reading the forums...but as far as upkeep goes, 30 minutes every few days would probably be more than enough.

It would take a long tieme to catch up, but the great thing is that it 's a bunch of different leagues so even being one of the worst teams it's still fun because you're in a league full of your skill level, so the fact that teams in top leagues are way better then you doesn't matter.

Re: So who else signed up for buzzerbeater?

I just signed-up tonight. I set my roster, my guys SUCK, but they got great potential lol. Idk my record or any of that, I think my 1st game is on the 10th. I'm the Hazardz if anyone wants to play (Idk if there's challenges or what)

I have to say, it is VERY confusing....

Re: So who else signed up for buzzerbeater?

Here it takes awhile to get used to and all. Dabears and I have AIM so its easy to talk to each other and we taught each other the game from what we learned. You just have to explore. I learned most of it by exploring. AND THEN looked at the tutorial.

Worst part is, that the games arent every night I had one tonight, and my next is on thursday against DaBears, But the schedule is random. Some 2 days apart. some 5.

Best part, probably their PBP. Id take it over CR anyday. Its so kool. I also like their transfer list. You can buy players. Its pretty fun.

Re: So who else signed up for buzzerbeater?

I just don't get how you can get better when you can't train? Well you can train, I'm training pressure now, but all the teams train the same amount, so I don't see how I can make any progress on other teams?

Re: So who else signed up for buzzerbeater?

I just found out my team is 4-9 (I really don't get how since I just signed-up today?) and I'm in league V.37, division 5.

I just noticed that. I guess its just the transfer list is the way to get better.

Another way to get better. At the end of each season there is a draft. You will most likely end your 1st season with a low ranking in your league so you will prolly pick up better players than the teams that finished above you.

I came last in my first season and so got 1st draft pick. Ended up with 3 players who are now some of my main guys. Don't forget to invest in scouting if your're looking like getting a high draft pick.

Re: So who else signed up for buzzerbeater?

You prob will. I lost by 1. After like an hour of trying to get settled. It takes a while to get settled. get your lineup and work from there.
