how is leadership calculated before games? Individualy or as a team? Is it the only attribute of it's kind? If not, would it be wise to have all my teammates train the attributes calculated by team?
Offline
Leadership is actually not being calculated in game. Is that the answer to your question?
Offline
it isn't? So exactly what is it for?
Offline
Of course it is, every attribute is calculated and totaled for each lineup.

If shooting is to FG%. Leadership is to nothing.
I think he was talking about that bbkaos

I interpreted that differently I guess. Leadership doesn't explicitly show up in the box score in an obvious way (like rebounds say), but it clearly is "calculated" for each lineup.

I interpreted the same way you did. Then again, I was under the impression that he was referring to sim value and not attribute production.

I wish I could answer these questions in a simple way, but that is tough. Goldrush please ask if you need a more clear answer.

Gold, Were you refering in box score or simulation values of leader.
Guess im the one who interpreted it wrong.

not necessarily box score. More of how leadership affects game simulation. Does more leadership give better performance? I happen to see many teams with leadership guards, but i don't know what exactly they're for.

It makes your team more consistent. And some people think that it helps late in the game with like clutch.

He will act like the captain and the heart of the team. (Like CP3)

i see. Would it be better if a leadership guard would be in a team? Or is having everyone in the team train their leadership from a range of 50-70 a better alternative?

That all is relative to your team build. Having 2 Leadership players (1 for each lineup) is pretty good as they can end up with a huge Leadership sim value. I always like having my Defense or Blocking guys train leadership as well so the LEadership points can be thrown into their primaries. Although keep in mind, Defense slides into Leadership, but Blocking does not.
Hope this helps a bit.

thanks. so is leadership the only stat of it's kind? like total amount of an attribute of a team will be calculated before game? say total points in shooting of a team, would it affect shooting of the whole team in a game?

Every single attribute seems to be a lineup wide thing. They are all calculated and totaled up separately for each lineup. Leadership is unique in the sense that it does not directly do anything, yet it seems to indirectly help everywhere.
Sim value is what drives the simulation (mainly). Sim value is calculated by taking your attribute level multiplied by your skill points, and then by your chemistry levels. For this reason having a leadership guard on each line is the way to go. Each individual player training leadership to say 100 even won't help, because you need skill points and chems in an area to get a really high value.

Well Explained bbkaos.

As an example, 5 player in a line each training leadership to 100 could get you 500 sim value. One person training it to 273 with full skill points and level 5 chem would be sim value of 7880.
