I'm sure you guys know that we had people starting below 650 and 4 who changed their mains.....

That is the reason why I wrote you don't gain much. wink

Just to be clear, are you guys saying a team can be ultra competitive in the end while having non role players full rat?

Not only can they, they have.  At least if you consider getting to the championship game competitive.  I know that that would be bringing up team X in season Y game Z.

Was Season Y before or after TSP's were implemented?

And Just to be clear... when you say "full rat" for non role players, do you mean 2/2 GR AND WoW or just 2/2 GR? I can see being able to make up the skill points by just taking Gym Rat (Need to get to 1100 TP's to make up the 4 Skill points used to get GR), but if you include WoW, you'd need to hit 1200, which is no easy task.

Heh, yeah here's where I said it tongue 1200 is the key here. If you can hit that, then you have the benefit of higher mains at the expense of slightly lower secondaries. Again, I'll say, very impressive, but that strategy depends on having expert trainers and there is little room for failure. Obviously you guys had the talent to pull that off tongue

Either way, I am definitely impressed, but moreso by your training efficiency than anything

Well, obviously that is the key for that. Being able to train efficient is the reason for being able to gain all the necessary tp to hit 1200 tp. You can do that, btw, in every season. Allison Stokke for example hit 1200 tp for the eigth straight season while always had the highest possible chem level.

Re: Who is gym ratting next season?

Well yeah, once you start up over 800 each season it is very doable.  Like if we ratted again (right now) I definitely would not use PA for that reason.

I rebuilded the player from being a shooter in season 7 to being a ball handler in season 8. The player started with 40 in Ball Handling and 625 tp. You can see it in the season 8 stats how the turnover are going down towards the end of the season. I hit the highest possible chem level and 1167 tp. Obviously at this time the max level was 350, not 400. I still did that without using PA.

You are correct. The player never used PA.

130 in Shooting. Didn't train that all season long except for one tiny point to get the best rollback.

Re: Who is gym ratting next season?

Pretty nice work.  The players we rebuilt also happened to have different secondaries...it was pretty annoying staring at the 190 or so that was sitting there in the old main.

its was actually 140 by the end, but whos counting tongue

at a sacrifice of about 50 total TP's, one of my players could have probably have a 378/300 main/secondary while still being above 1200 while never using PA, like stokke been 7 seasons since i have been below 1200 with him. while switching mains in season 9.

Re: Who is gym ratting next season?

Yeah, I can imagine. Building up new mains AND new secondaries is a different kind of animal, I have to admit. I wouldn't probably do that in the first place. Maybe a longer rebuilding process for a couple of players only in which a team can still reach the championship game. We did that on FU back in season 10 (well, at this time it was 400 max): http://www.courtrivals.com/showTeamProf … 0&s=10

As you can see we only lost in the championship game, which was winnable, but a late switch screwed up our TSP. To be honest, we started that late-switch thing in the first place, it was clearly our fault and Just Blaze did nothing wrong.
