Yes, the rumors are true, Lord Stanley2 and I are making our return to West. Thanks for keeping the throne warm for us, interim champs, but we'll take it back now.

West League will be considered the Top Tier League in a matter of 2 seasons.

The news/plan is to turn the West League into an NBA style league.
A league with a Free Agent Market,Draft, and Trades.
Hopefully with some help from TheKaz we could have an end-season or mid-season Allstar Game also.
Each season West would start with a Draft for teams looking to add talent to their rosters.
With its own West Free Agent Market teams won't have to fish through the Players in Players Looking forum.
With its own Trading Block, teams could interchange players to better fit their team build plans.
If you have some ideas that would enhance the West league let it be known

That wouldn't change and if anything it would help create more teams you like you mention, so why would it make you want leave west?
Teams that want to stick together can do that and teams that are less fortunate can benefit from such a system.

I know what your saying tho, My idea for using the draft is strictly voluntary not every team has to participate in it.
The draft would be for those teams that don't have a big core group of players.
Same goes for Free Agency and Trading Block, strictly voluntary

Say a player feels like testing the waters on a different team.
The draft is just a fun way for teams that have roster space to draft players that entered.
Same with Free Agency and the Trade Block.
Sure you can do basically the same without this extra fluff but hey I'm willing to do it
