Due to my crappy builds, my season 43 playoffs are pretty much over before they have even started, so what does the West League landscape look like for next season? Please post here if you can confirm a team will be active.

Vice City Heat and Oasis will be merging, so hopefully another team arises or is revived so we can have a full Pro A again. My other 10 players are available if other teams need players, or otherwise I will just run them as a semi-competitive auto-trained filler team.

I'll be here for a little while longer.

Trying to think about how to get a Triple Double player next season, some other interesting builds for the team. This season's one was certainly interesting. Not sure how much confidence I have in it come playoff time - -But definitely some funky player builds.

In planning for next season, I thought of a few things I don't want to try on my main team but that could work out really well, so I am considering running my "filler team" in an increased capacity.

Would be good if we could maintain 10+ teams. This league can be really interesting and fun with all the different builds you can try.

I'll probably run my secondary team as a full-time team again after thinking about it, though I'm not sure I can fully commit to it. But this league is really dropping off now and I wish some more users would return as well. We're already down to 9 active just based on teams who have said they are not returning, and it would be 8 if I don't run my second team.

I sent PM's to the captains of the West Season 44 teams to see if you guys would be interested in playing in tournaments/leagues throughout the season.

It sucks with only 9 teams training 42 Days to perk at the end into a completely new/more powerful team -- just to play for 3 days at the very end of the season. So I thought we could implement our own tournament/league to see who is consistently the best.

Might create some fun.

I think it would be really difficult to coordinate an in-season tournament, though I am interested. My personal preference is the preseason tourney idea. (and I am captain of two teams, so I get two votes... just kidding lol)

I would be PMing the teams to use their challenges on certain teams and such. I think it would be interesting/fun to try at least.

We have 12 teams for next season as far as I'm aware. Seeding would be like so based on Playoff finishes/Season rankings:

I was thinking we could run some tournaments/leagues throughout the season to make it a bit more meaningful?

Here's the format I was thinking.

*EARLY-SEASON TOURNAMENT* [SHORT DURATION: 12 DAYS]
3 Pools of 4 Teams, Play eachother once.
Top 6/Bottom 6 Pool, Play eachother once.
Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, Finals (Single Elimination)

Pool 1: #1 BM, #6 HOODOO GURUS, #7 Manchester Rain, #12 Pimpology 101
Pool 2: #2 CR Veterans, #5 Old School All-Stars, #8 Pacific Rimmers, #11 Old West
Pool 3: #3 Animal House, #4 The Magic Johnsons, #9 Team Wafu, #10 NFL Blitz

*WEST PREMIERSHIP* [LONGER DURATION: 23 DAYS]
12 Teams, play eachother twice each
Grand Final between #1 and #2 at the end

These two would last us most of the regular season

* Then, at the end of the year we will have our usual single elimination tournament (aka official court rivals playoffs).
