I'm absolutely down. Shouldn't be too tough to get challenges accepted with most teams being made up of one or two users.

I would definitely plan some extra days in there though for when things don't work out as planned with the scheduling.

Oh definitely. At the moment it's tournament: 9 days, premiership: 19 days. So we have 14 spare days.

Tournament sounds interesting, think I will train Old West this season to compete with you all in there. I brought another guy out of retirement to play in Jordan for next season also, so guess I will be pretty active next season

Great. With naptown and HOODOO playing we have 12 teams, which makes draws for tournaments and leagues very easy.

I'm awaiting an email from Kaz to see if he can give each team 3 challenges each -- With 9 teams we would've been fine, but we *may* need an extra challenge each so I'd rather have it than not if we can get it from Kaz.

My main motivation to take a season off from West is the perk system. I have exams coming up and I'm going away for a few weeks over summer - so there's that. But with West, you have to be on every day to swap your 8 TCs for perks - and then at the end of the season, 'perking' is a ridiculously tiresome task.

I really think West could be the future of CR because you can come in and out of "retirement" whenever you want, new users aren't at a disadvantages etc but the perk system is annoying currently.

Just airing my thoughts on the state of the league.

I said I would downsize to one team before this season, but I'll almost definitely do it for next season, it's really too much work to run two full teams. Ideally, I'd like to team up with someone and go half-and-half for a team but I don't know if anyone would be interested in doing that. I agree that West is probably the future of CR, and I believe if it was the main league this game would stand a chance of growing. With only 11 teams active though, it's still a far cry from the heyday of CR.
