Great few seasons guys. Was fun to come back but that's it for me. I'm gonna post up my build in a bit for s & g's if anyone else wants to do the same.

great game TMJ
Thanks, I've been trying to captain a championship team on and off for over 5 years now, so this means a lot to me (a lot more than anything concerning an online game should at least). I never expected this build would actually work out, in fact I only was running this team to try some things out for the Rain to use next season... I think I have my answer on that now lol.

It's not going to be the same without you, your teams are always tough to beat. And I am very curious to see the build... but I don't want to reveal too much about the TMJ build because I was planning to use most of it over next season for the Rain.

The numbers were similar last year, but I had the second set of Leadership guys as Guards instead of Forwards like this year. Last year they were Leadership/Passing/Defense and the 3pt shooters were 3pt/shooting instead of 3pt/passing. The dunkers were Dunking/FT instead of Dunking/Shooting. Also, that chem for Lulu-Janna was Defense/Blocking, NOT Leadership-Leadership. I didn't put SP's for them into Defense/Blocking until yesterday in hopes to catch people by surprise there. I think I did, it just wasn't enough.
Definitely like the Dunking/Shooting combo a lot better. The 3pt/passing combo, I could live without - It worked so well on CRV the past couple seasons, but not quite as well as I had hoped here. The overall numbers it produced were great for Lux/Nidalee but it felt lackluster when I really need them to score.
I still strongly stick to the fact that you DO NOT need a designated rebounder in West - Having a player be your Rebounder AND Defender or Blocker seems to work out way too well to do anything different.
I finished the season with about 220 perks for most players (except the 4 "leadership" guys). I used minimal amounts of Vegas Tickets, but definitely did use them on the Malphite-Alistar pairing and the Lulu-Janna pairing, since I couldn't get their chem higher without unmasking the fact that they didn't actually have a Leadership-Leadership chem.
Anyways - I hope some of this info helps keep West more competitive in the seasons to come and maybe opens up different builds!

All I will say about TMJ is that 6 out of 10 players have level 8 chems without Vegas Tickets and I didn't give a crap about the regular season when I made this build.

Nice! I was contemplating going that route. Or at least Level 7/Level 4, but in the end I stuck with what worked last year.

It almost worked again this year. There are several flaws with the TMJ build that I'm going to try to do something about next year because the secondary attributes pretty much didn't matter at all. It's a very boring build and I'd like to try something interesting like your builds but I don't feel the system but I'm very comfortable with what I have now. After seeing the how OASIS ran through the league last season only to fall apart come playoff time due to only having level 3 chems along with level 3 secondaries, I knew the best strategy would be to go for as high as possible mains. Of course, the main reason that build failed is because I didn't account for perks at all really.

Level 3?!? Damn, I didn't think they were THAT low. Ha.

Actually I used proficiencies for most of the season and my tertiary stats were above level 2 as well. So the top 3 for all of my players were like 221 - 221 - 169. This may or may not have worked if I planned to have a reasonable amount of perks at the end of the season but I didn't think it through at all.

Yah - As you can see above, 325-273-169 is possible with enough perks. Those guys had around 170 at seasons end.

I know now... I felt so stupid after last season but at least I learned from it. I guess our game tonight just goes to show you can make it work with one-dimensional players and multi-dimensional players alike as that game really could have gone either way.
